KungFit is an exciting new class that promotes anaerobic fitness, which involves short fast bursts of exercise followed by recovery time; although the exercises used in the class originate from a kung fu training regime, the emphasis is on movement and fitness rather than self-defense; the classes mainly consist of exercises done in groups, with the personal encouragement and attention of instructors; cool-down includes softer Tai Chi movements as a contrast to the high-intensity group work; exercises are varied for people with different levels of fitness, but will progress throughout the weeks so that you can gain a sense of achievement as you work towards a higher fitness level; the anaerobic exercise in KungFit increases the heart rate, so it is great for fat burning; it also tones the muscles and challenges both the body and mind as our instructors encourage you to put all your effort into the exercise; as a result of attending KungFit, you will gain improved flexibility, agility and strength, but most importantly you will enjoy it
