Develop and maintain waste management strategies for the treatment and disposal of waste, waste management solutions and waste reduction targets; developing and maintaining strategies specifically aimed at the reduction of waste to land fill; planning and the provision of professional advice and consultation in the field of waste management; encouraging cooperation between individual waste boards thoughout New South Wales in pursuit of developing more efficient and effective waste management strategies
