Psychiatry services in this class to a patient population including children, adolescents, and adults, with a spectrum of work including, but not limited to, general adult psychiatry (predominantly mood, anxiety and psychotic illnesses), women's psychiatry (particularly with regards to infertility, pregnancy and the postpartum period), child and adolescent psychiatry, the psychiatry of eating disorders, and addiction psychiatry (both substance-related and behavioural additions); psychiatry services in this class including but not limited to assessment, diagnosis, formulation and treatment of behavioural, emotional and psychological disturbances including psychiatric illness encompassing the bio-psycho-social-cultural aspects of the clinical presentation; psychiatry assessment in this class including but not limited to interpersonal assessment via history taking in all cases, in combination with a variety of assessment tools which may be psychometric in nature, or may involve further physical and assessment either via the practice or in collaboration with another healthcare provider (including physical observations, ECG, blood tests, imaging); psychiatry treatment in this class including but not limited to evidence-based pharmacotherapeutic (medication) and psychotherapeutic (psychological therapy, individual and group) interventions which may be provided in both an inpatient or outpatient setting; psychiatric medico-legal assessments and reports; contracted time-limited locum services to inpatient and outpatient health services; admission of patients to a private hospital to facilitate inpatient treatment of psychiatric illness including inpatient treatment of substance dependence (facilitating withdrawal, detoxification and rehabilitation)
